The Tree of Life ~ Bahrain

Survives with no water supply and surrounded only by desert

… and more desert

  

How this 400-year old mesquite tree survives is a mystery considering its surroundings.

Quite the unique little tree.

This mystery has made the tree a legend in the Middle East…

It is a natural wonder.

 The tree truly represents the magic of life and is so aptly named.

And in these surroundings it is a welcome shelter from the mid-day desert sun.
