Why am I having such a hard time writing about something???? It’s extremely frustrating , I have so many ideas floating around in my head, I think it’s a bit like clutter, I just don’t know where to start, maybe I should just close my eyes and just start typing and see what happens.
Ok I’m closing my eyes………typing, typing I am getting sleepy. 😀
I’ll start again….closing my eyes again
My daughter had curling practice tonight , she goes three times a week.
The conversations we mums and dads have are usually quite enlightening and funny, there is often quite a bit of laughter coming from our little “peanut gallery” we solve many of the world problems in an hour and a half 🙂
My friend Paula invited us all to a “Canvas Cafe” just for ladies, at the Library on Thursday night, it a class instructed by a local artist and she will supply everyone with a canvas etc a quick lesson a cup of coffee or tea and your on your way to creating a one of a kind piece which mine most certainly would be I really have no artistic talent my brother and sister got the creative gene , which brought up a conversation later with another friend of mine Lynette, I told her about my love of coloring …. yes it’s true my name is Angie and I love to color, not kids coloring books but these cool things my mum got me onto a few years ago they are called mandalas, I was not very well at the time and needed something to occupy my timetother than focusing on my illness and the what if’s…..
What is a mandala?
A mandala is a complex abstract design that is usually circular in form.
In fact, “mandala” is a Sanskrit word that means “circle”.
Mandalas generally have one identifiable center point,
from which emanates an array of symbols, shapes and forms.
Mandalas can contain both geometric and organic forms.
They can also contain recognizable images that carry meaning for the person who is creating it.
In essence, mandalas represent the connection between our inner worlds and outer reality.
Designing your own mandalas can be both inspirational and therapeutic.

Opening eyes now
