I am so thrilled to be nominated for this award.

I find myself extremely honored to be receiving such an important award The Best Moment Award, though I also must admit that somewhere deep inside, I saw it coming one day. 😀

I am earnestly grateful for the recognition I have received for my work. I have faced several challenges on my way here, but each has only strengthened me to make me the person I am today; a thorough professional pppffffttttt  who knows exactly what she wants chocolate and wine; someone who sets her eyes on a goal and does not take them off it unless it is achieved finishing a bowl of pasta in record time.

Applause

This award could not have been achieved without the inspiration I have received from my fellow bloggers, Check out my community for whom I have deep respect, and from whom I have derived the strength to challenge myself and write an awesome post 😀 😀

More Applause

I sincerely thank every one of you however I’m running out of time and you all know who you are 😀   for helping me reach a stage where I can proudly hold up this award as a mark of my achievement. I also promise to only get better at my work so that you can see me here, hopefully for a different award next time.

Cheering and Applause

So I’ve compiled a list of awesome “bloggers tools” to help you out when nothing comes to mind and a couple of my own 😀

  •  Keep a journal where you jot down every new idea you have or get.
  • Stumble Upon– use the “Discover” option to find new interests.
  • inboxq – helps you find questions people are asking on Twitter, you can work on these questions and come up with better blog topics – www.inboxq.com
  • Guest posting is great if you don’t have enough time to write or do a research, a good option is to invite few friends from the same niche to do a guest post on your blog. You help them expand their presence while  keeping your readers happy.
  • The Content Idea Generator (v2) –  will automatically find news and related stories for your blog from a variety of sources.… everything from Google News to Reddit, from tweets to public Facebook updates and more. While this tool works just as well for podcasts, email newsletters and YouTube videos, It’s great for generating new ideas for blog content.
  • Diigo is a site for  a cool way to keep track of interesting articles for later blog posts, check out Diigo.  This site lets you highlight and store interesting content for quick retrieval down the road.  It supports mobile devices like the iPhone, iPad and Android.
  • Use a voice recorder/phone to store your ideas .
  • Focus Booster is a tool that many bloggers use to increase writing productivity, this app is based on the Pomodor technique, which recommends you break up your work time into 25 minute blocks separated by 5 minute breaks to improve mental agility.
  • Alltop collects headlines of the latest stories from the best sites and blogs.

Daily Prompt – Audience of One

Another Daily Prompt Challenge

Challenge :

Picture the one person in the world you really wish were reading your blog.

Write her or him a letter

Paul,

I know you get busy and have a lot on your mind,  but it would mean so much to me if you would just take a few minutes each day to read my blog,  it would take your mind elsewhere just for a little while and you might even have a good laugh.

I share quite a bit on my blog , silly jokes, awesome drink recipes, Totally useless bits of information and a lot of other random things I think up.   I’ve started another blog for Kirsten called Quotes for Kirty .

Angies Grapevine is one of the privileged recipients who won the “Beautiful Blogger Award”, I was so thrilled when I was nominated by a wonderful woman I only know through these WordPress Pages.

Pretty awesome eh? 🙂

Maybe I’ll write a piece on your obsession with your new Bolens Tractor….

I’ve been feeling  as though your missing out on a pretty important part of me, by not reading what I write….this “blogging” is important to me and I’d love for you  to see what I’m up too. 🙂

Hugs and kisses

Angie

Daily Prompt – Take it from Me

Another Daily Prompt. Challenge

Challenge :

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve given someone that you failed to take yourself?

The best piece of advice I have given and do not always follow myself is “Don’t worry about what other people think, just be yourself.”
I must admit I often don’t follow this advice myself … I do my best and usually what you see is what you get but I think we all wear some sort of mask from time to time…. Something I need to work on….
One more….Be yourself cause everyone else is taken ≈ not sure who wrote it but I like it 🙂

A fellow blogger Hope*The happy Hugger posted what I often give as advice and don’t follow myself.

Daily Prompt – Last words

Another Daily Prompt

The Challenge : Last Words

You have the chance to write one last post on your blog before you stop blogging forever.

Write It

As I sit at my computer with a glass of wine again at my side it is with a heavy heart that I tell you all that, I have decided not to continue my blog Angies Grapevine.

Writing Angies Grapevine has been an awesome journey, I’ve met so many different people.  Photographers, writers, artists, musicians, dog enthusiasts, chefs and a variety of comedians i.e George Vagabon who happens to be a brilliant photographer and artist 🙂  People from all over the world, places I’ve never heard of and can only dream of visiting, languages I cannot read without the help of the Google translator.  My Grandfather would have loved that!

It’s been fun to share my experiences, thoughts and quirkinesses and made up words with you,  this has been one of the bravest things I’ve ever done.  The blogging community has been so welcoming, supportive and non judgemental.

I have had the privilege to have been nominated for  the “Lovely Blogger Award” by one of my peers.

She is also my #1 Fan.  Thank you Clanmother!  I hope one day we’ll meet and chat in person.

Blogging has been such a positive experience for me, I’ve always loved to write and research different topics, blogging has allowed me to share my finds on such a tremendous scale.

“You never leave Blogging behind, you take a part of it with you , and leave a part of yourself behind.”

˜Me˜

To ease the Angies Grapevine Deprivation you all will feel over the next couple of weeks 🙂

I have added some awesome blogs that you should check out that have inspired me and kept me smiling, contemplating and hungry everyday.

A new nominee for “Beautiful Blogger Award”

I have nominated my friend and fellow blogger “Sue” who writes polysyllabicprofundities.com for the “Beautiful Blogger Award which I truly hope she accepts.

She is a beautiful person with the gift of writing and storytelling.  To quote another fellow blogger Clanmother-A Backward Look Forward

“Blogging is about sharing thoughts, knowledge and experiences” and Sue does this each and every time she posts.

Polysyllabic Profundities in her own words is a blog full of  “Random thoughts with sporadically profound meaning” .

Check out her blog you won’t be disappointed!
