My  brother – Andrew – a.k.a Andiroo, Uncle Fru Fru, jerk 😀 😀 😀
Is 7 years younger than me. My sister and I often tease him about the “unfortunate” accidents that occured when he was young… he had fallen while playing on the monkey bars in the back yard and broken both his arms….hmmm and the time he took a ride in his walker down a flight of stairs and ended up with 2 black eyes….hmmm

Those things did happen but we really had nothing to do with it we loved our little brother 😀

However he did get his revenge on one occasion….at the time we used Johnsons Baby Shampoo…also known as Shampee!!!!

He was the cutest little guy , he had the curliest brown hair and chubby cheeks and was my mothers “pride and joy” and still is.
“Be kind to your brother” or “Andrew wouldn’t have done that” or “Isn’t he just the best son a mother could have” ok she never said that exactly but my sister and I know that she thinks it…:D 😀 😀

All kidding aside I do love my brother very much.  I’m very proud of him, he has a family of his own now,and is an awesome husband and fantastic father to 3 girls.
He also loves to cook, is very witty and I do believe marked as “gifted” I just call him special. 😀 😀
One of his friends suggested he start a blog which I think is great idea I’ve stolen some of his pictures and captions off of fb to share with you.

If it’s on fb it fair game right?? 😀

Exhibit A :

experiment 04-20-13 aka “no life”:  3 different hole and dough densities are subject in this test.  subjects 13L, 5L, and 3C will be placed in a morning trial to determine the outcome of drunkin daddy bagel experiments…  i think i’ll try the top left one now just be safe…i really want the bottom right one though.

bagels

shouldn’t have used egg on top like it said… the kids like them they’re just a bit chewy… test subject 14L(not 13L) has not woken up yet… so we shall see

Exhibit B :

Brother to Sister

This is the message my dear brother left on Facebook for me on my Birthday and the conversation that followed:

From brother to sister: FOURTY FOUR (44) is not as bad as it sounds. FOURTY FOUR (44) is a time of celebration.  it’s not a matter if the glass is half full (eg. FOURTY FOUR (44)) or if the glass is half empty (eg FOURTY FOUR (44)) it’s as simple as there is more room for wine in this glass, even at FOURTY FOUR (44).  happy birthday to my FOURTY FOUR (44) year old sister.  happpy FOURTY FOURth (44)th birthday angie. ♥ from your younger brother (eg 37) andrew

From sister to brother: Thank you ever so much for your well thought out Birthday Wish!  Can’t wait to see you on Sunday my dear young punk brother, remember the fun we had on the monkey bars??  Oh how about the fun ride we took down the stairs which resulted in two black eyes. 🙂

From brother to sister: yes who could forget, imagine me falling asleep while climbing on monkey bars resulting in a horrable fall and breaking both of my wrists.  who could forget the Heroics of my sisters rushing me to the safety of my mothers loving arms, and the joy of being with granny every day for 6 weeks at four years old.  thank you for being such a good sister to me.  and the stairs weeeeeeeeeee walkers go so fast as they thumble with the fun down slick uncarpeted stairs.  thanks for the good times sis. love ya ♥

From sister to brother: LMAO till Sunday Brother…….

The love between a brother and sister is something so special. 🙂

The Yellow Castle and My Birthday Wish

untitled cake

I have a birthday coming up, each birthday is a milestone for me seriously,  and I  don’t usually have a birthday wish list, but this year I do.

Ok Ok here it is:

I would like to go camping with my  younger brother and  sister.

I’m sure they’ll be thrilled.

Unfortunately Thanksgiving this year falls on my birthday weekend which is when I wanted to drag them out to spend time with me, so I’m hoping if they are agreeable which I’m confident they will I’d like to go the following weekend and if that doesn’t pan out maybe after Christmas, sometime in mid January?!

I am after all hosting the family Thanksgiving meal again for the 6th consecutive year! Gosh all the cooking for all those people, the planning, the preparations, ugggh, I’m tired just thinking about it, and all on my birthday…..maybe I’ll bake a birthday cake for dessert.

I really want to spend time with the two of them, freezing our butts off,  drinking cocoa,  somewhere in beautiful Ontario.

Crazy? Well heck ya!  That’s the only way we know how to do things in my family.

I was married when my brother was 10 and I’m sure he was pleased when he became an uncle at the age of 11 and was renamed “Uncle Fru Fru” at 13!  Your welcome.

My sister and I are very close in age and are pretty good friends at the moment 🙂

All  I really would like is for the three of us to spend time together.

I’m sure they’ll make my wish come true since they love me dearly and know that I never ask for anything.  I am after all their older sister and have guided them well through their youth 🙂

Come to think of it …I think I showed them how to build the famous “Yellow Castle” .  Good times. 🙂

I loved that castle!
