Daily Prompt

Unknown Caller

You receive a call from an unexpected person. Who is it, and what is the conversation about? Go!

phone-ringing

The phone starts to ring, everyone runs around in a mad panic to find the phone, finally someones found it.

“Who is it ?” I yell.

“It says unknown caller” Daughter # 2 says

“Probably just a bill collector” I say 😀 😀

Daughter #2 picks up

“MUMMY it’s for you!”

I whisper “who is it?”

“I don’t know, just take the phone” she says quickly as she goes back to her evening of Facebook , Instagram and texting….

“Hello”

“Hello Angie Grapevine”   tee hee hee

“Yes”

“This is Mr. Goodnews, I’m calling to notify you that your third cousin, twice removed on your Mothers side has passed away and has left his estate to you ”

I say “Yes” 😀

“His Estate is worth 5 million dollars”

I say “Yes” 😀

“This inheritance does come with one condition….”

I say “Yes” 😀

“You must give it all away to any organizations that you choose”…………..(Daily Prompt – Charitable)

NICE….

LA SEGUNDA PARTE

You’ve inherited $5 million, with instructions that you must give it all away — but you can choose any organizations you like to be the beneficiaries. Where does the money go?

I knew right away what I was going to do…..

Make a Wish Foundation – 1.5 million

Ontario SPCA and Humane Society -50,000

Local Food Banks – 25,000

Sick Childrens Hospital – 1.5 million

Then with 75,000

I would  give to various other charities.

And with the final 25,0000.00 I would create an organization called Greedy Grapes and move to Tuscany, Italy to make Greedy Grape wine , and live in a Villa high on a hill so I could look down on all my grapes and I would buy unicorns and plant Skittles so I could have rainbows all the time and then I would hire a tutor to teach me how to add!!

and thank my dear old third cousin twice removed on my mothers side.

😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

  1. Ringydingy, ringydingy, Hello my dearest, sweetest, kindest Greedy Grapes. Glad to see that, although you may have difficulty adding, you did not forget that charity begins at home. I noticed a lot of “I’ statements in your personal plans. Although your cousin thrice removed has popped off, I do believe that the mother to whom you refer is alive and well … somewhere. She might like a little time in Tuscany. I’m told she’s not overly fond of grapes, but Italian stallions are quite another matter.
